A healthy body is the result of stress free living from early childhood. Stress free happens to be applied only when the mind and belly tends to be sound. Scientifically speaking, our intestine is connected to our brain through “Vagus Nerve” which sends signals in both directions, meaning what you are feeding yourself affects the functioning of brain as well. Doing proper exercise and other disciplined habits are another topic of concern. But, what we need primarily is to check and improve our diet first. Thus, tutoring a young one to cook or make them excited into healthy eating must be adopted by everyone with a greater sense of responsibility.

Moving onto the point of attracting youths into cooking, Taste of the foods that are prepared is another most essential aspect to be considered. It is ultimately the taste of the food that decides whether to like it or avoid it. So then, how can the taste be improved? It’s simple, first let’s understand the common types of taste we tend to experience through our taste buds; Sweet, Salty, Bitter, Sour, Spicy and Umami.

If we balance these tastes in our food then we definitely can master the technique of bringing good taste in foods. But, all in all we have to make sure that the food we eat must have the original taste of what it is actually like. Once we are able to maintain this no foods will be boring. And yes! fats are essential for good taste and flavor of any food.

NOT ANIMAL FATS Please!!! Use Olive oil, Flax seed Oil and Raw Mustard Oils.

The ease of preparation and time taken to prepare a food plays another pivotal role in influencing youths for cooking. These days, people are quite often lazy to do even minor things, and this is the reason they tend to choose foods that can be consumed fast including other necessary amenities. Most of the time, adults are busy in their jobs. And, in case of youths, they are either busy on online and offline entertainment, or at their heavy hectic study job. Either of the things makes them to have no energy for work. This means, cooking their own food and eating consciously is a kind of dream. How on earth can we make them go for it then???

Answers’ easy: let them start with basics and engage them on the foods that can be made fast. Small steps at a time. Slow and low changes momentarily. The speed comes once they get the habit of cooking and enjoying on what they make. Juices and Smoothies are the best to start with. And, it’s fast and easy as well. “Just take some bananas, any berries, yoghurt, honey, and any dry fruits with mint. Blend it altogether at once and one good meal to start the day is done!!! Congratulations, on small step is completed”. Try this for a week and so. A simple sense of responsibility, and a kind of healthy attraction will get into the mind soon. Also, the nutrition will work good on the body for positivity and cheerfulness. Then, gradually teach them from salad to snacks and main courses.

Conclusion:

It’s really simple; consciousness of good health is a must. But, even before that the habit is necessary. To make the youths get their habit: either we should compel them to make their own food by force, or by medical reports. We can give them a regular never ending awareness of health as well. Teach them how cooking their own food will make them able to save time and money. Youths, these days, are seen much concerned in the financial aspects rather then their diet they consume.

Thus, to implement the awareness and teach them how to cook…focusing on the color of food for attraction, art for making them fall for it with enthusiasm , taste for substitution on other items, ease of preparation and time for maintaining their stability is most.

If we maintain this and follow more on what can be cooked at home this way, we will definitely become one step ahead for motivating youths to cook for themselves something healthy more often. Check for different blogs for the recipes and google and YouTube for healthy cooking ideas at home.
