It is really a great deal to be a good Chef and you have to have that attitude to make yourself filled with all the tactics, tricks and tips for making varieties of dishes.

“We may not be the people from Science background, but we often play with the property of Science and we create dishes being based with Science. We may not be the Students from Health, but what we make and feed people have it’s direct effect on their health. So, we basically are Health Practitioner's as well.”

But, Hey !!! Once You Follow The Mentioned 3 Aspects in Your Mind; You Can Actually Turn Yourself Into Being a Good Chef or Even More!!!

# 1- Burning Passion: It’s really simple, you do what you want to do. If you like to become a cook and eventually a Chef; you cook and do everything that is required to cook food. So, passion here will work for you. If you have a great passion to cook, no matter what you are made to do; Let’s say cut, peel, chop, wash and rinse vegetables, meat and fruit, you will do it with smile. Wash the dishes for fast replacement of Mise-en-pla, you will do it. Get scolded because you over seasoned the dish or under seasoned the dish for the first time, you will bare it. Got yourself teased and roughly yelled at because you spoiled that Rice dish just because you couldn’t measure the water well or you didn’t get the idea of when exactly the steaks are supposed to be taken out of the skillet a rest it for desired internal structure, you will face it and tolarate it. But, if you don’t have the Passion just forget about everything. So, go with your passion.

# 2- Let Go Ego: With the intense heat, playing with fire, water, knives, pots and pans, the atmosphere inside most of the kitchen tends to be slightly hot then regular working environment. All cooks and Chefs are busy with every other works ranging for washing, cutting, peeling, chopping, marinating, cooking and all so, it’s definitely not that anyone in there will care if you are new or well experienced one. Once you enter into the kitchen, it is like a war zone where you have to be smart and pick up a defensive line. What i mean to say is: just get yourself into an action or else you may get slammed, teased or yelled. Even worst, you may get the hygiene part to look after; meaning: clean the walk in chiller, the floor of the kitchen or the working stations. The list goes on. It may therefore hurt your Ego. So, be sure you will let your ego to burn out so that, whatever happens you will follow with the job you are supposed to do. Eventually, the team will be your best family and all will share you that they know about. This will make you able to learn the major cooking and managing aspects for being a great Chef.

# 3- Never Ending Hunger: Nobody knows to cook everything. There are tons of different cuisine to know about and hundreds of food variety as per country, its reason, culture and sub-cultures. It’s therefore nobody is perfect. And, also the food preferences, trends and foodways changes over time. So, to learn all those aspects you have to be very flexible form your mindset. You have to have the ever learning attitude so that you can cope up with the demand that has been created by the market. As, market is the King so, if you won’t follow the market trend and learn it and adopt the changes you will remain left behind. It definitely doesn’t mean that you have to leave up your basic roots, but change and adaptation of new technics and recipes are required. So, Have the hunger to learn more and more. The more you learn, the more you earn and its better for everything.
